Valerie works full time for KCET Community Television as their Manager of Community Events and Partnerships. In this role, Valerie produces most of the station's membership and community outreach events for over 10,000 members and guests each year, including KCET's Heritage Month Local Heroes Awards celebrations, documentary premieres, family member days, fundraisers, pledge events, and concerts. She also manages the station's 150+ partnerships with local organizations, non-profit groups, and businesses. In addition to her role at KCET, Valerie freelances for MTV-Networks Special Events and as a graphic and web designer. Outside of her career, she holds leadership positions in the Ross Alumni Club of Los Angeles and in the Rotaract Club  of West Los Angeles. Her previous experience includes positions with Walt Disney Studios Special Events, Wolf Kastelar Van Iden Public Relations, and StudentCity.com. Valerie received her BBA from Ross in 2008.
